Position Description:
We are seeking a part-time Marketing Manager with a strong background in demand generation, content strategy, and email marketing to help our client achieve their goal of generating 2 won projects per month. The ideal candidate has experience with SMB and VC investor audiences, is knowledgeable about the broader marketing ecosystem, and can effectively manage lead acquisition through a mix of low-cost paid channels and CRM optimization. You’ll be responsible for crafting and managing content, refining email campaigns, and ensuring all marketing efforts align with our client’s objectives for efficiency and growth objectives.

About the work:
• Demand Generation: Develop strategies to generate 2 won projects per month at a low acquisition cost, focusing on high-efficiency channels. Utilize small paid channels to drive qualified leads, exploring options such as LinkedIn or other cost-effective platforms. Optimize CRM processes to enhance lead nurturing, conversion rates, and customer retention.
• Email Marketing: Refine and improve email marketing campaigns to boost engagement and conversion rates. Perform A/B testing on email components, including subject lines, content, and scheduling, to optimize performance.
• Content Writing & Management: Create and manage high-quality content, including blog posts, case studies, and other pieces that resonate with SMB and VC investor audiences. Ensure all content has a marketing polish and aligns with the client’s brand voice.
• Market & Audience Alignment: Stay informed on industry trends and the SMB/VC investment landscape to tailor campaigns effectively. Develop audience-specific messaging to improve relevance and conversion across channels.
• Reporting & Analytics: Monitor lead acquisition metrics, engagement data, and conversion rates. Provide regular performance reports and make data-driven recommendations to continuously enhance demand generation efforts.

Boxes to check:
• 4+ years in marketing management or demand generation, with a track record in B2B, SMB, or VC-focused roles.
• Proven ability to drive lead acquisition and deliver project outcomes cost-effectively.
• Proficient in CRM systems, digital marketing tools, and small paid channel strategies.
• Strong content creation skills, including blog and case study management, with experience refining email marketing for engagement.
• Data-driven, highly organized, and effective in remote collaboration within GMT hours.

About the role:
• Part-time position at $12/hr, working 20 hours per week
• GMT hours with fixed weekends off
