About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with a specialty in Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSF) to join our team. This role will allow you to leverage your SMSF expertise within a dynamic public practice environment, offering significant career growth opportunities and a supportive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the administration, compliance, and financial reporting for SMSFs, ensuring adherence to Australian regulations.
Prepare and review annual financial statements, complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns and regulatory requirements for clients.
Identify and implement efficiencies in SMSF processes and compliance.
Stay current on changes in tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards, and share knowledge with the team.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.
What We're Looking For
Minimum of 5 years in Australian public practice accounting, with substantial SMSF experience.
Proficient in accounting software such as Xero and Class Super.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
