Position Overview:
As a Sales Representative, you will be instrumental in driving new business and revenue growth for our accounting firm. You will be responsible for generating high-quality leads, developing client relationships, and closing sales deals for a variety of accounting services. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with our team of experienced accountants and financial experts to deliver tailored, client-specific solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate leads and identify potential clients through networking, cold calling, and referrals.
Conduct needs assessments to understand clients’ financial challenges and objectives.
Present and promote our range of accounting services (including tax, bookkeeping, and business consulting) to prospective clients.
Upsell accounting services to existing clients, helping them maximize value from our offerings.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and encourage long-term retention.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized proposals and solutions based on client needs.
Work closely with the marketing team to align sales efforts with promotional activities.
Negotiate contracts and pricing to successfully close sales deals in a timely manner.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth.
Perform ad-hoc tasks as required to support the sales process.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Proven success in sales, preferably within the financial services industry.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and basic financial concepts.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
Goal-oriented with a drive to meet and exceed sales targets and objectives.
Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with CRM software (Hubspot preferred) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
