Position: Professional Wedding Photography Culler + Editor (Remote)
We're seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Culler and Editor to join our wedding photography team in a remote position. Working 15-30 hours per week, you'll play a key role in curating and editing wedding galleries, ensuring our work reflects our high standards, and supporting our business growth.
Your Role
As a vital part of our post-production team, you’ll handle image selection (culling) and editing with an eye for storytelling and consistency. Using tools like Adobe Lightroom, Photo Mechanic, and Asana, you’ll curate images that capture the essence of each wedding, meticulously enhancing each selection to maintain our brand’s refined aesthetic. You’ll also manage aspects of gallery organization, file handling, and delivery preparation. In addition, you'll support the owner with executive assistant tasks like scheduling, deadline tracking, and project coordination, helping keep operations on track.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS - NON-NEGOTIABLE:
Apple M1 Mac or newer (system settings screenshot required with application)
Minimum 5 years professional experience editing North American skin tones
Proven high-speed internet connection
Passion for wedding photography
Familiarity with the wedding industry and ability to anticipate client needs.
Core Responsibilities
Complete culling and editing of full weddings within 7 days
Edit 700-1000 images per wedding with consistent quality
Achieve natural, true-to-life skin tones across diverse ethnicities
Work independently with minimal supervision
Maintain clear communication about project status
Technical Requirements
5+ years Adobe Lightroom experience
Advanced understanding of all Lightroom panels
Expertise in color theory and skin tone editing
Portfolio demonstrating wedding editing mastery
Experience editing in various lighting conditions
