Job Summary

Serve Freight is looking for a Logistics Operations Manager to lead and oversee our logistics operations team. This role focuses on ensuring efficient coordination of shipments, optimizing routes, and maintaining high service levels for clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics operations, problem-solving skills, and the ability to implement strategies that streamline processes and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day logistics operations, including planning, routing, and tracking shipments.
• Optimize transportation routes to improve delivery efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with carriers, drivers, and customers to ensure timely and effective delivery.
• Monitor KPIs, analyze operational data, and make improvements to optimize logistics processes.
• Lead and mentor a team of logistics coordinators and assistants, providing support and guidance.
• Handle and resolve any operational issues or delays that arise.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• Very experienced (at least 3 years) managing a company's operations.
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Familiarity with logistics software and tracking systems.
