  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Role Overview

The WordPress Developer & CMS Manager will be responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining our 20 WordPress websites. This role requires a balance of technical development skills, design proficiency, and exceptional organizational abilities to ensure that all sites run smoothly and align with our branding and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• WordPress Development: Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins. Implement new features and functionality as needed.
• Theme Customization: Modify and enhance existing themes for aesthetic and functional improvements, ensuring a mobile-first, responsive design.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize website speed and performance, manage caching, and conduct regular audits to ensure top performance.
• Content Management: Manage and update content across 20 websites, schedule posts, and coordinate with the content and marketing teams.


Qualifications

• Technical Expertise: Strong experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and WordPress development.
• Design Skills: Basic knowledge of UI/UX principles and proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma).
• Page Builder Experience: Familiarity with popular WordPress page builders like Elementor, Divi, or WPBakery.
• Performance Optimization: Proven experience in optimizing websites for speed and performance.
• SEO Knowledge: Understanding of SEO best practices and experience using tools like Yoast SEO or RankMath.
• Security Practices: Knowledge of WordPress security protocols, including malware scanning and SSL implementation.
• Content Management: Ability to manage content calendars and ensure timely updates.
• Organizational Skills: Strong ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical tea m me mbers.
