Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accounting Assistant at Bernales & Associates in Quezon City. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible to supports the accounting and finance team in ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, tax filings, and compliance with local tax regulations. This role involves monitoring and managing day-to-day accounting activities such as accounts payable, petty cash management, tax preparation, and ensuring proper documentation and reporting for tax purposes.
Job Description
- Submit data in preparation of schedule for EFPS BIR remittances (BIR 1601E, 2550M, 2550Q).Monitoring of expanded/input addition and deduction to all purchases.
- Monitoring of Purchase Order.
- Monitor and check the accuracy of Purchase Order.
- Petty cash fund replenishments / Monitoring of petty cash fund and unliquidated PCF advances.
- Daily update of entries in workbooks.
- Ensure to record all the expenses and payables.
- Preparation of BIR Tax Filing / Familiarize in Taxation and computation.
Qualifications
- Financial Statements, Accounting Software, and Accounting skills
- Finance and Bookkeeping skills
- Experience in financial reporting and analysis
- Proficiency in accounting software tools
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Relevant accounting certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred
