The Executive of Health and Safety will be responsible for performing routine and essential duties across various health and safety disciplines. This role is critical to achieving ZALORA’s compliance targets and KPIs. The position involves ensuring the company meets both internal and regulatory safety standards, as well as driving initiatives related to mental health, safety training, and data analysis within the workplace.

Responsibilities:

  • Under direct supervision, perform routine duties in a wide range of health and safety disciplines to achieve compliance with ZALORA HSE group standards and local regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of safety and health programs, systems, and procedures.
  • Make regular inspections throughout the facility to ensure safety standards are met.
  • Assist in identifying, monitoring, and mitigating hazards that may be present in the work area.
  • Prepare and accomplish HIRAC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Control) reports for business leaders.
  • Collaborate with teams to investigate, document, and report accidents, injuries, and complaints related to workplace hazards.
  • Develop corrective and preventive action plans for identified accidents, injuries, and hazards in the workplace.
  • Participate in health and safety audits, recommend process improvements, and suggest better practices for minimizing workplace hazards.
  • Design and conduct employee training programs related to health and safety, emergency preparedness, and mental health awareness.
  • Ensure the quality and effectiveness of health and safety programs and their alignment with business needs.
  • Maintain accurate records for training, inspections, and data collection, and assist in compiling data for environmental reporting.
  • Oversee the Mental Health Program in the workplace to promote awareness and support for employees’ mental well-being.
  • Analyze health and safety data to identify trends and suggest actionable insights to improve the overall safety culture in the workplace.
  • Assist with special projects related to health, safety, and wellness as required.
  • Implement and coordinate security policies and programs to ensure safety standards are maintained.
  • Coordinate the Training Need Analysis and ensure that all team members receive adequate safety training.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Safety Compliance, preferably within warehousing or hybrid workplace settings.
  • DOLE-accredited Safety Trainings (Safety Officer 2/3).
  • Mandatory 40 hours of basic OSH training applicable to the industry.
  • Additional 48 hours of advanced/specialized occupational safety training relevant to the industry.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage administrative responsibilities effectively.
  • Exceptional prioritization skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • ISO 45001 experience is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, especially for stakeholder management in a global office environment.
  • Ability to think creatively and collaboratively for continuous improvement.
  • Ability to go beyond traditional approaches, applying novel methods to enhance the overall facilities and warehouse operations for optimal outcomes.
  • Willingness to report to the office located in Muntinlupa-Cavite Expressway (MCX) as needed.
