Key Accountabilities
Marketing and Sales Reporting Support
• Create marketing cloud templates for both sales teams in a timely manner, ensuing any embedded links operate properly
• Create marketing cloud eBlasts using data extensions in the Insurance and Guaranteed Investments marketing cloud
• Create leads in Salesforce to track opportunities for certain teams
• Create sales campaigns in Salesforce and track successful activity
• Run scheduled and ad hoc reporting from Salesforce and PowerBI, including more complex ad hoc firm reporting
• Facilitate the creation of sales campaigns in SmartList and track successful activity
• Run insights and analysis on the return on investment activities for select campaigns in Power BI, Salesforce and potentially Seismic
• Perform several self-serve updates on Salesforce, including advisor address updates and approved territory changes.
• Populate advisor information via excel to identify leads and call-out opportunities from various campaigns (will involve VLOOKUPs and manual look ups on DSS)
• Ensure unassigned advisors are assigned to the appropriate wholesalers in Salesforce
• May need to facilitate the ordering of certain marketing material requests
CE Credits
• Manage the submission of several CE credits (when requested) to support the volume of the Regional Coordinators and Business Development Associates
Additional accountabilities
Budget & Expense Management
• Assist the team in tagging certain expenses, to ensure they align with the expense code in Concur (examples: travel and entertainment, advisor spend) to ensure corporate expense and travel guidelines are being followed
• Review and edit the “yet to be assigned” report regularly and work with the Regional Coordinators and Business Development Associates to fix it accordingly
• May need to track expenses against budget and flag any expenses approaching budget or any instances where submissions have exceeded corporate guidelines.
What is needed to be successful in the role?
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint) and Power BI, Salesforce Marketing Cloud and DSS
• Fast learner and self-starter, with ability to take initiative to work proactively
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and become a subject matter expert for sales team members
• Strong organizational, time management and priority setting skills in order to meet tight deadlines
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to investigate problems without supervision
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task, show initiative, and anticipate needs in a proactive manner
• Ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Flexible and adaptable when dealing with change, including changing priorities and tight deadlines
• HTML coding to edit existing templates is an asset
• English fluency is required to communicate with the Canadian team
