Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Client Relationship Manager with expertise in working with philanthropic foundations, nonprofits, or businesses, focusing on relationship-driven sales that create lasting, positive change.
Responsibilities
- Build & Cultivate Relationships: Leverage strong sales background to establish and maintain long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships with corporate, nonprofit, and philanthropic stakeholders.
- CRM Optimization: Navigate and optimize CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track, analyze, and categorize partner data. Craft strategic outreach campaigns and build targeted relationship strategies.
- Research & Partnership Development: Conduct thorough research to identify potential partners, understand corporate structures, and identify strategic opportunities in philanthropy, community engagement, and nonprofit sectors.
- Collaborative Outreach: Work closely with internal teams to align partnership goals with organizational objectives. Collaborate with marketing, strategy, and operations teams to ensure consistent messaging and maximize engagement.
- Communication & Persuasion: Utilize your exceptional communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills to influence key decision-makers, close deals, and foster long-term partnerships.
Requirements
- Graduated with a 3-year or 4-year Bachelor’s degree
- Candidates must provide either an NBI Clearance or Police Clearance (preferred) upon hiring
- Must be comfortable with using Hubstaff, a time-tracking application
- 5+ years of strong sales experience, particularly in relationship-driven sales (preferred) rather than transactional product sales.
- Proven ability to navigate and optimize CRM systems, leveraging data to drive outreach, maintain relationships, and track progress toward partnership goals.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct research and gain insight into potential partner organizations, particularly in the areas of philanthropy and community engagement.
- Outstanding communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations with emotional maturity and a collaborative mindset.
- Familiarity with the nonprofit, philanthropy, or community engagement sectors is a plus but not required. An eagerness to learn and adapt to this space will be key.
- Computer or laptop with access to the internet (minimum speed of 25 Mbps)
Hardware Requirements
- At least a 720p HD Webcam.
- A noise-canceling headset.
- At least a 25mbps primary internet connection.
- A backup laptop, backup internet connection device, and backup power supply in case of power outage and emergencies.
- Minimum recommendation for your main computer: Intel Core i5 or equivalent with 8 GB RAM or higher
- Minimum recommended for your backup computer: Intel Core i3, 4 GB RAM
