Do you love organizing information, creating efficiencies and helping with branding/marketing? I am looking for a virtual assistant to help me with multiple areas:

Consulting: I am a leadership coach, public speaker and strategy consultant who works with a variety of clients in technology, non profit and other industries. I may ask you for help with project management or tasks related to my clients and my own company JMC^2.

My company, JMC^2, focuses on helping corporate professionals elevate their leadership skills and capabilities and I also contract directly with organizations to help them with operational strategy, upskilling staff and business coaching. The ideal candidate will support solopreneur led marketing initiatives by executing effective, lean marketing campaigns and reporting on their performance.

As a Virtual Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our daily operations. Your responsibilities will include creating marketing collateral (promotional email s, marketing copy, social media posts, etc.), setting up email campaigns, researching and helping me book speaking engagements at conferences, events and podcasts and engaging with our target audience on social media, and conducting in-depth market research to identify the wants and needs of our target audience.

As a leadership coach, and public speaker, branding is extremely important and must be handled with extreme care. While we use AI for idea generation, a successful candidate will carefully ensure my unique style, tone and value proposition are communicated. A person in this position is responsible for content distribution across various platforms.

The ideal candidate is comfortable multitasking and is good at prioritizing under minimum supervision. To succeed in the role, you must also be tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and an effective communicator. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills are mandatory. I’m looking for someone who is creative, willing to learn new things, has excellent organizational and communication skills, and is passionate about building a brand that will help companies and individuals attain their strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

Content & Social Media:
-Plan, create, and schedule posts for Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and the company website.
-Edit and produce short-form videos (reels, YouTube shorts) using existing content or provided materials.
-Support editing and producing of podcast video and audio.
-Research trends and hashtags to maximize engagement.
-Respond to comments and messages to maintain audience engagement.

Marketing Campaigns:
-Track performance of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
-Design newsletters and manage email marketing campaigns.
-Handle SEO tasks (keywords, meta descriptions) for website optimization.

Outreach & Partnerships
-Research and compile lists of podcasts, conferences, and speaking opportunities.
-Draft and send personalized outreach email s to podcast hosts, guests or potential collaborators.
-Follow up on outreach to maintain relationships.

Administrative & Personal Support
-Manage personal projects or other ad hoc tasks.
-Handle routine purchases or logistics, such as ordering supplies or scheduling appointments.
-Maintain organized folders for marketing materials, invoices, and project files.

CRM & Data Management
-Set up and maintain a CRM for client and lead tracking.
-Build and organize a knowledge database for templates, FAQs, and standard processes.

Research & Analytics
-Conduct competitor analysis and compile findings.
-Analyze data from social media and campaigns to report on performance.
-Gather insights from surveys or feedback tools to guide strategy.


Technical Requirements
Proficiency or desire to learn the following tools
-Canva or Adobe Photoshop
-CapCut or similar video editing
-Squarespace (updates to website)

-Facebook (marketing)
-TikTok (marketing)
-Instagram (marketing)

Passion for creating and adhering to standard operating procedures
Experience with social media marketing on LinkedIn and others like Facebook , Instagram, Twitter , YouTube, etc.
Knowledge of CRM
Familiarity with analytics tools, such as Google Analytics.
Knowledge of SEO and keyword research
Strong copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills

Expectations
I am comfortable with asynchronous work, so long as we have daily electronic communication as to the status of various projects. In some cases, when we are starting to work together and when launching new projects, you will be required to have LIVE virtual meetings with me during US Working hours.
