Quality Team Lead (Construction)

Role Purpose:

The Quality Team Lead ensures that the company’s quality management system is effective and compliant with industry standards. This role is key in improving project delivery efficiency and maintaining high-quality standards across all projects. The person in this position will actively contribute to developing quality management processes, training staff, and supporting project delivery. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the management of quality across EICA, ensuring quality systems are implemented and regularly assessed for improvement.
• Maintain documentation in compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
• Develop and implement internal quality improvement projects.
• Manage the quality audit strategy, including conducting audits and coordinating third-party audits.
• Address and resolve significant quality issues by conducting root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collect feedback from internal and external sources and use it to improve client satisfaction.
• Share lessons learned to improve quality across the organization.
• Provide training and raise awareness about quality management processes.

Key Relationships:

• Internal: EIC Quality Team, EIC Engineers, Quality Audit Team
• External: Clients, third-party auditors

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business, Management, or Engineering.
• Formal qualifications in Quality Auditing and Integrated Management Systems.
• Over 10 years of experience in quality management, preferably in consulting engineering or construction.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software.
• Ability to analyze data, identify key issues, and implement solutions.
• Experience in project management and working with design and engineering teams.
