Position Responsibilities:

As part of the Global Partner & Alliances (GPA) group, the Partner Operations Specialist will support the operational needs of our new and existing Solutions Partners to grow their partner practice with Deltek. This includes ensuring that our Solutions Partners are set up correctly in Salesforce with access to demo environments and the Deltek Learning Zone (DLZ). As a productive and proactive member of the Partner Program Office (PPO) team, this role has independent responsibilities to manage the daily inquiries from our Solutions Partners – including partner deal registration, Co-sell (referral) and Resell partner needs, and Value-Added Influencer requests.

The individual in this position acts as an innovator, researcher, and problem solver and reports to the Global Partner & Alliances leader focused on Partner Operations and Enablement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work in a team environment to manage the daily operational needs of our channel partnerships.
  • Work independently with other business units (customer support, finance, and legal) to resolve issues.
  • Manage Deal Registrations by fielding and processing leads registered through the Partner Portal.
  • Design, deliver, and maintain business reporting via the Salesforce platform.
  • Assess how business processes can be improved using Salesforce.
  • Respond to internal and end-user inquiries including troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Manage time, resources, and priorities to meet quality standards, project timelines, and deadlines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • This role may have the capacity to develop additional technical capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university required and/or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Salesforce; proficient in Salesforce reports (2-4yrs).
  • Experience with Salesforce’s partner platform, Salesforce Communities (now Salesforce Experience), is a plus.
  • Experience interacting with and supporting geographically dispersed clients/users; strong oral, business writing, and communication skills required.
  • Proactive individual with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized.
  • Ability to:
  • Work individually or on a team.
  • Work with other business units (customer support, finance, and legal) to resolve partner issues.
  • Perform in a virtual and agile setting – flexible to meet changing priorities and challenges.
  • Deliver under tight deadlines and requirements.
  • Experience as a member of a Partner Operations team supporting the Channel Partner business, a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and SharePoint is expected.
