Role Description

This is a full-time, contractor role for an E-Learning Developer at Learn Awesome. The position is fully remote, requiring 40 hours per week.

As a key member of our team, you will design and develop high-quality, interactive e-learning experiences tailored to client needs. Your work will focus heavily on visual design and crafting learner-centric digital experiences that captivate and engage.

You will:

  • Create interactive e-learning modules, storyboards, and visually compelling learning materials.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and the Learning Design team to design learner-focused content.
  • Apply modern instructional design methodologies to ensure impactful learning outcomes.
  • Develop a range of assets, including e-learning programs, training guides, animations, and web materials.
  • Utilise your strong visual design skills to deliver graphics, layouts, branding, and UI/UX elements.
  • Incorporate basic video editing and animation tools (e.g., Vyond, Camtasia, Adobe Premiere Pro) where necessary.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects on the go at the same time, ensuring smooth delivery and quality results.

Your contributions will directly shape engaging learning programs that stand out visually and create real impact for clients.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in instructional design and developing interactive learning experiences.
  • Strong visual design skills, including expertise in layouts, graphics, branding, and typography.
  • Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and SCORM/xAPI standards.
  • Experience in storyboarding and content planning for e-learning modules.
  • Basic familiarity with video editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, Camtasia) and animation software (e.g., Vyond) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX design principles is highly advantageous.
  • Strong project management and time management skills to deliver projects smoothly and on time.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment while working independently.
  • Attention to detail with a creative mindset to deliver visually engaging learning materials.
