Overview:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Remote E-commerce Coordinator with experience in Shopify and vendor coordination. The ideal candidate will excel in project management, customer service, and vendor communication. This role involves managing workflows, ensuring deadlines are met, and coordinating between clients and market vendors.
Responsibilities:
Vendor Coordination:
Act as the primary liaison with vendors during the back half of the week (Wednesday to Saturday).
Allocate 2 hours per week for addressing vendor questions.
Ensure responses to vendor inquiries are completed within a 24-hour window, including questions about discounts and market rules.
Meet the MAP deadline for purchasing from vendors, ensuring commitments are completed by Friday.
Set up Canva templates for stall creation and communicate market rules clearly to vendors.
Manage and distribute Q&A materials to vendors to streamline operations.
E-commerce Management:
Use Shopify to collect, manage, and track customer orders.
Process manual payments on Shopify for book purchases.
Coordinate and send email s on Friday evening summarizing purchase details for clients.
Customer Service:
Provide minimal email support to address customer inquiries or issues efficiently.
Project Management:
Ensure workflows between the marketplace and Shopify are streamlined for smooth operations.
Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders to avoid delays or missed deadlines.
Qualifications:
E-commerce Expertise: Strong experience with Shopify, including manual payment processing and order management.
Vendor Coordination: Ability to coordinate with vendors effectively, meeting deadlines and resolving issues promptly.
Customer Service Skills: Proven ability to handle customer inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
Project Management: Strong organizational skills and ability to manage workflows and deadlines across multiple stakeholders.
Canva Proficiency: Familiarity with Canva for creating templates and setting up market stalls.
Excellent Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and meet commitments with minimal supervision.
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience in a similar e-commerce coordination role.
Familiarity with marketplaces and vendor management workflows.
Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
