Role purpose
The Marketing Manager is accountable for the delivery of qualified lead volume for the Student Placement and IELTS in the Philippines. The role is central to the delivery of revenue and profit objectives and will work with the Region/Country leadership team and office managers to develop marketing strategy and tactical campaigns.
The Marketing Manager (Philippines) will also lead in-Country marketing teams to ensure quality and successful execution of marketing activities.

Key accountabilities
Business Planning and Multi Channel Strategy
• Develop comprehensive marketing plans to support country student placement and IELTS volume goals, including multi-channel campaigns and lead sources for successful execution.
Lead Generation
• Manage new generation activities effectively, identify lead opportunities, and recommend expansion of marketing activities to leverage them for the Country Director.
Event Marketing/ Management
• The role involves planning, scheduling, and executing marketing activities for IDP events, including pre-event marketing, booth designs, and event management, ensuring strategic goals and brand positioning are met.
Web and e Marketing
• Develop SEO/SEM strategies for IDP's website, including content for student engagement, maintain and update the local website, and leverage other electronic marketing mechanisms to position IDP effectively with clients and students.
Local Institution Outreach Plans
• Work with Office Managers to develop and execute effective outreach plans among institutions
Marketing Content Creation
• The role involves providing creative marketing content solutions within budget, managing material development and production, and ensuring high accuracy in all content creation.
Vendor and Agency Management
• Identify and manage vendors and agencies for business success, build relationships with third parties for high-quality IDP outcomes, and ensure timely delivery of outputs.
Analytics and Reporting
• Utilize CRM and tools like Google Analytics to evaluate marketing campaigns, track lead generation, and escalate issues for improved lead quality and number of qualified leads.
Public Relations
• Devise appropriate Public Relations strategies as required and in line with business needs
Leveraging From Wider Region
• Build and maintain strong relationships and communication with South Asia office to leverage all marketing strategies & material that is developed
People
• Lead, manage and motivate the local destination country marketing team to drive superior performance and achievement of business objectives.
Projects
• Lead and participate in projects from time to time. These could be country specific like the possible establishment of a country level call centre to qualify leads before they are handed over to local offices for further action or working on projects to allow leverage of marketing best practices across IDP countries.
Required experience
Essential requirements (skills, knowledge experience & qualification):
• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
• Demonstrate experience (minimum 5-7 years) in delivering high quality marketing solutions with positive, measureable results.
• Highly effective planning and organising, managing multiple competing priorities.
• Creative thinker and able to develop contemporary marketing content.
• Highly effective relationship building and relationship management skills.
• Able to read, analyse and interpret information effectively.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills across all key methods – oral (including presentations), written and non verbal.
• Problem solving skills and able to implement creative solutions to problems.
• Good team player.
• Sound IT skills – Microsoft Office
Desirable requirements (leadership & tam/project capabilities):
• Experience in working in the International Education sector.
