Main Accountabilities:
Defines and executes a marketing plan for the CU in line with the MU Strategy ensuring achievement of agreed Sales, Market Share, Profit, and brand equity target.
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Drive Business., Market Shares & Consumer Journey.
• Achieves sales, profit and market share objectives and drive consumer journey in line with the CU Annual Marketing Plan through monthly performance analysis, leading to recommendations for appropriate corrective actions.
2. Marketing Budget Control
• Controls marketing investment in line with the agreed Marketing Plan, updated as necessary during the year.
3. Maximization of Return on Investment
• Reviews and consistently evaluates alternative marketing investments opportunities in order to maximize return on investment against agreed brand objectives.
4. Long Term Business Plan long term
• Prepares a 3-year business plan to provide strategic direction and define contribution to future sales and profit growth in line with the regional strategy.
5. Local business insights
• Develops a thorough understanding of the local business consumer needs and competitive context. Provide business insights to MU to facilitate the definition of regional marketing and communication strategy and local competitive advantage.
6. Internal Marketing Plan
• Leads the annual Marketing Plan, under the supervision of the Country Manager and Marketing Director – MU ASEAN within the Annual Business Plan, liaises with MU / Regional /Global offices and local supply chain to ensure timely launch of product innovations in local market as well as for local customer marketing plan
7. Organization and Processes
• Ensuring the correct processes are in place and in all areas support the overall business and have the right level of control to ensure no risks to the business. Lead the Marketing team to ensure that processes in Marketing are in line with MU/global standards. As systems responsible he/she plans and coordinates the systems requirements together with related stakeholders.
8. People Management
• Manage team to achieve the agreed performance level by leading, coaching, monitoring, and motivating them to excel in their roles and responsibilities
Agency management & set up
• Ensures the agency setup meets the local needs and regional guidelines to deliver high quality local activations while meeting agreed KPIs. The MD leads from pitch to implementation and ensures to give timely feedback to continuously improve performance. Agencies in scope: digital always on, media and KOL agency.
Commercial direction
• Together with Sales Director the Marketing Director develops, rolls out and leads the local commercial agenda. Ensuring priorities are carried
Your Profile
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
• Bachelors/master’s in business administration from a recognized University preferably with a focus on Marketing
• 10+ years’ experience in consumer marketing specializing in fast moving consumer goods
• Strong analytical Skills and flair for numbers
• Ability to combine detailed analysis with the big picture and brand strategy to generate compelling strategic scenarios
• Passion for growth and consumer understanding
• Language: Excellent verbal and written communication in English and local language
• High proficiency in MS Office applications. Adobe Acrobat and SAP will be a plus.
• Team worker and able to work autonomously
