Job Description
• This individual will be accountable for Implementation and development projects that would require development of new functionality and maintenance of existing functionality
• Experienced with interpreting internal or external business challenges and recommending best practices related to Business Intelligence
• Ability to solve complex problems and take a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions utilizing business warehousing concepts and tools
• Function as Subject Matter Expert in the BI Portfolio domain
• The individual will also provide support for interface and interaction strategies with external systems & databases
• This individual will effectively manage their own time on a day to day and weekly basis towards their deliverables
• The individual will be responsible for proactive communication of status, progress and issues to supervisor and will collaborate with all IT teams
• Strong verbal and written communications
The individual is expected to partner with the Business Community, Project managers and Technical analysts to understand changing business demands, formulate solutions and create an atmosphere of innovation, collaboration, and teamwork.
Qualifications & Experience
• BA/BS and 5 years of experience in diverse professional roles.
• IT experience in multiple disciplines such as Architecture, Development, Consulting etc. Experience is required in writing technical specifications.
• Experience with rollouts and End to End Implementation of SAP application
• Has experience in IT development with emphasis on SAP BW/4 or SAP BW on HANA, SAP Business Objects, Native HANA modeling, SAP ABAP
• Has good knowledge on SAP Functional domains like Finance, Purchasing, Sales and Distribution
• Experienced in building front end reporting using Business objects tools like AO Excel and AO Web
• Has the ability to independently plan, control and lead in an agile delivery environment, think and act independently and communicate effectively.
• Has the ability to work well with people from many different disciplines and cultures with varying degrees of technical experience.
• Can interpret internal and external business issues and recommend best practices and business solutions; and the ability to solve complex problems taking a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions.
• SAP Certifications on HANA and/or BW would be a plus
