Job Description
- Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of the crewing operations team.
- Liaise with the recruitment department and assist in recruiting seafarers for the concerned principals, as well as monitor crew lineup.
- Monitor the progress and ensure timely crew changes.
- Evaluate nonconforming seafarers by assessing their performance based on reports and assessments made by the Master before assigning them to their next vessel.
- Manage and monitor the performances of the Crewing and documentation staff under their team.
- Responsible for the quality of his work in compliance with the ISO 9001 Standards.
- Performs other tasks related to crewing operations as required.
Job Requirements
- College Degree
- Preferably with at least 5 years of experience in the Maritime Industry
- Sailing Experience is an advantage
- Ability to manage, understand and effectively communicate and influence people including seafarers.
- Must have a good written and oral communication skills
- Must be assertive and have strong leadership capability
- Ability to work under pressure
