LMSL, the Life Management Science Labs, is an organization aiming to empower people all over the world to transform their lives based on the research by The Institute for Life Management Science (ILMS), which identifies and structures all aspects of human life into a comprehensive architecture.

ILMS is dedicated to researching the application of management systems in personal life. A multi-disciplinary research team explores the structure and application of personal administration at individual, couple and family level. The result of the research project is a series of tools, templates, toolkits, publications and training courses content.

LMSL has been established to commercialize activities using the above-mentioned research insights. Job Responsibilities

  • Marketing Strategy and Implementation
  • Develops and implements marketing strategies (ATL, BTL, Digital & PR) to enhance competitiveness by collaborating with product, sales, and other departments as per the company goals and objectives.
  • Implements and adapts the company’s marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives set by the Cluster Marketing Manager.
  • Develops and oversees integrated marketing campaigns, including new product launches, branding initiatives, and innovative tactics.
  • Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, providing feedback and directions for optimization.
  • Understands and implements the principles of product and category marketing specifically from the EdTech industry
  • Team Management and Coordination
  • Leads the marketing teams for LMSL International.
  • Coordinates with the marketing team and supervises Marketing Managers and other team members to ensure deliveries of planned projects are completed with the highest of quality
  • Ensures team alignment with the marketing strategy, clarifying individual and collective objectives.
  • Mentors and develops the marketing team’s skills, supporting professional growth and fostering inter-department collaboration.
  • Proactively resolves conflicts and ensures smooth collaboration within the entity, cluster, and ecosystem.
  • Sets up quarterly, half-yearly, and annual goals for team members and tracks their achievements
  • Provides feedback to the team and secures final approval from the Vice President of Marketing (Cluster) for all outputs from the Marketing Department before sharing them with other stakeholders for review including the CEO
  • Budget & Agency Management
  • Liaises with all external agencies including the selection process and ensures clear instructions, communications, and timelines are maintained and the quality of work accepted.
  • Manages allocated marketing budgets, ensuring efficient resource use and maximizing ROI.
  • Monitors and reports on budget execution to the Cluster Marketing Manager, suggesting adjustments to optimize costs and performance.
  • Brand Strategy and Management
  • Leads and implements brand strategy under the direction of the Cluster Marketing Manager.
  • Coordinates and ensures brand identity and brand guidelines consistency across all materials and channels working with design and communications teams.
  • Ensures the implementation of the brand’s visual identity and messaging across all customer touchpoints.
  • Market Research and Data Analysis
  • Coordinates market research to identify trends and market opportunities.
  • Uses data insights to adjust marketing strategies and customer experience to guide product/service development teams.
  • Pricing Strategies
  • Proposes and implements pricing strategies in collaboration with the product team.
  • Evaluates cost structures and competitor behavior, recommending pricing optimizations.
  • Product/ Category Marketing
  • Understands each of the 12 Labs as individual product categories and works with dedicated Marketing Managers to grow each category as individual P&Ls
  • Plans and executes growth strategies taking help from the Category Marketing Managers and other specialist marketing managers using all media channels necessary
  • Owns the P&L for each of the 12 Labs and coordinates with the Sales functions to achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly targets
  • Own product’s presence on the website, marketplace, social media, offline media, collaterals, events, and any other owned, earned or paid media channels
  • Prepares for and joins sales pitches and improves product/ category representation, pricing, etc as per learnings
  • Marketing and Sales Collaterals
  • Plans and prepares a list of collaterals needed for each of the 12 Labs
  • Guides the Marketing Managers to prepare high-quality brand-aligned marketing and sales collaterals
  • Coordinates with the Sales, Product, and Creative Teams on deliveries and changes. Proactively participates in any conflict resolution required for smooth collaboration between teams.
  • Good command of English to be the final quality checker for all the collaterals coming out of the department
  • Audits and Compliance
  • Leads periodic audits of marketing activities, ensuring compliance with strategies and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Hiring
  • Hire the Marketing team in coordination with the TA Team
  • Ensure a low attrition rate in the Marketing Team

Key Qualifications

Educational Background and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 10+ years in Product or Category Marketing fields in Global EdTech or Global FMCG will be preferred.
  • 3+ years in marketing leadership, leading cross-functional teams, motivating employees, and managing agencies/partners.
  • Understanding of and exposure to Global Markets and Global Marketing is a must have
  • Hands-on experience in all areas of marketing - ATL, BTL, Digital and PR (preferably global)

Strategic Planning and Execution

  • Skilled in reviewing and recommending campaign plans, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and business objectives.
  • Experienced in creating launch plans for large-scale initiatives (e.g., LMSL plans for 12 labs).

Growth and Innovation

  • Proven track record of driving growth and innovation in the industry or related fields.
  • Supports retention, loyalty programs, and growth initiatives.

Campaign and Budget Management

  • Experienced in campaign and budget management, analytics, and ROI measurement.

Data Analytics and Marketing Tools

  • Strong skills in data analytics using tools like Google Analytics.
  • Proficient in assessing and recommending marketing tools and vendors.

CRM and Operations Expertise

  • Skilled in managing CRM systems to enhance customer relationships.
  • Collaborates with the Marketing Operations Senior Executive to prioritize and ensure timely deliverables.

Leadership and Team Development

  • Experienced in leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing marketing teams.
  • Conducts weekly project meetings to ensure progress and alignment with goals.

Adaptability and Problem Solving

  • Thrives in fast-paced environments with strong problem-solving skills.

Quality Control and Approval Process

  • Ensures deliverables meet quality standards before seeking CMO approval.

Communication and Collaboration

  • Outstanding communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
