COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER

Position Overview
The Communications Officer manages and enhances the company’s internal and external communications while ensuring alignment with Architect Palafox’s vision. This role involves editing articles, preparing research-based presentation materials, and creating content for the website, social media, newsletters, and press releases. It also includes developing social media strategies, maintaining corporate branding, and collaborating with different teams for engaging content.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates topics with the President
- Edits articles upon President’s request
- Provides research assistance in preparing presentation materials and articles
- Provides and edits content for the company’s website, social media, newsletter, company profile, brochure, company presentations, press releases, and portfolios, among others
- Develop and recommend designs and content for the company website and newsletter
- Ensure corporate branding in all pages of the website and in the monthly newsletter, in terms of style, quality, and tone
- Prepare all types of communications including letters and press releases
- Social media strategy development
- Creates, edits, and shares engaging content
- Develops and follows an integrated communications calendar for social media posts
- Collaborates with other Teams for social media content
- Assists in organizing and implementing corporate events
- Assists in conceptualizing and creating event materials
- Accompanies and assists the President during his speaking engagements and other events when requested
Qualifications:
- Communications, Journalism or related field graduate
- At least five (5) years of experience in content creation, public relations, and corporate communications.
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Canva, basic video editing and other creative softwares
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
