Responsibilities
- Master the intricacies of QuickBooks Online to manage multiple income streams efficiently
- Reconcile bank statements and meticulously categorize transactions for various business entities
- Oversee bookkeeping for five rental properties, ensuring accurate tracking of income and expenses
- Play a key role in setting up and maintaining a self-managed super fund, adhering to Australian regulations
- Manage three trust accounts, ensuring compliance and accurate reporting
- Update and maintain financial records for current and previous fiscal years, including clearing a backlog from 2022-2024
- Prepare comprehensive financial data for tax return purposes, collaborating with external accountants when necessary
- Assist in financial planning and analysis for the newly launched trading platform
- Ensure strict compliance with Australian accounting standards and tax regulations
- Provide regular, insightful updates on financial status and progress to the client
- Proven expertise in QuickBooks Online, with the ability to navigate complex financial structures
- Strong understanding of Australian tax laws, accounting principles, and financial regulations
- Demonstrated experience in trust accounting and familiarity with self-managed super funds
- Proficiency in managing investment property accounting and multiple income streams
- Exceptional attention to detail with a track record of maintaining high accuracy in financial records
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly
- Adaptability to work within Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST)
