Job Title: Digital and EDM Designer

Role Summary

The Digital and EDM Designer will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing digital assets, with a focus on electronic direct mail (EDM) and social campaigns. This role requires a keen eye for design, a strong understanding of user experience (UX), and proficiency in creating assets that drive engagement and conversions.

Key Responsibilities

EDM Design and Development:

  • Create visually appealing EDMs and social assets that align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
  • Develop responsive HTML emails compatible with various email clients and devices.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to conceptualize and implement A/B tests for EDM campaigns.

Digital Design:

  • Design assets for digital channels, including banners, social media posts, website graphics, and landing pages.
  • Optimize designs for various platforms to ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Create motion graphics or interactive content (if applicable) to enhance engagement.

Brand Alignment:

  • Ensure all designs are consistent with the brand’s visual identity and tone.
  • Propose innovative design ideas while maintaining brand integrity.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with marketing, content, and development teams to align designs with campaign goals.
  • Provide input and recommendations for improving email and digital campaign performance.

Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct thorough testing of EDMs for functionality, responsiveness, and compatibility.
  • Review and refine designs based on stakeholder feedback and performance data.
Qualifications

Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in digital and EDM design, preferably in a marketing or agency environment.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing digital design and EDM projects.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Figma and Canva.
  • Experience with Shopify, HTML and CSS for responsive email design.
  • Understanding of email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Campaign Monitor and Shopify).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of motion graphics tools like After Effects or Premiere Pro.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
  • Basic understanding of UX/UI principles for digital platforms

WORK FROM HOME REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 10 MBPS internet connection.
  • Backup internet connection (postpaid or prepaid).
  • Laptop or desktop with updated operating systems (at least core i5 or higher).
  • Backup laptop or desktop (at least core i5 or higher).
  • Headset with microphone for clear communication.
  • Willingness to use Time Doctor for monitoring.
  • Maintain a noise-free work environment during working hours.
  • Must not be currently employed full time elsewhere.
