About The Role
As a Senior Portfolio Reviewer, you will review the retail credit portfolio of the Bank to determine credit quality and credit process quality and to support the Bank's credit risk-taking activities on the wholesale side by providing the business and credit decision-makers with information on the strengths and weaknesses of the bank's existing portfolio.

As a Senior Portfolio Reviewer, you will review the retail credit portfolio of the Bank to determine credit quality and credit process quality and to support the Bank's credit risk-taking activities on the wholesale side by providing the business and credit decision-makers with information on the strengths and weaknesses of the bank's existing portfolio.
How you’ll contribute
- Gather, interpret and analyze complex financial, market, and credit information using knowledge of the Bank's credit policies and standards and industry and market data to come up with a judgment on the quality of the individual and portfolio credit exposures.
- Re-rate individual credits using the Bank's underwriting standards and ECL model to determine the status or migration of an account's credit quality.
- Identify and assess critical risks (including concentrations) as well as opportunities based on the Bank's risk appetite and strategic direction for business building or recovery strategy formulation.
- Recommend policy and process changes through the Business Risk Review exercise prescribed in the Credit Policy Manual to support the business in its risk-taking activities.
- Conduct portfolio stresses testing by considering strategic and market changes for regulatory and prudential risk management purposes.
- Communicate and present the results of the credit audit exercise to the concerned relationship managers, business heads, crecom, and the ROC through the Business Risk Review exercise prescribed in the Credit Policy Manual to provide the business, credit decision-makers, the Board, and other stakeholders with a view on the quality of the Bank's credit risk-taking activities.
- Supervises a team of peers following Risk management Group's ROC- approved credit audit plan to come up with a unified quality and value-adding Business Risk Review performed efficiently and within a reasonable amount of time
- Must be a Bachelor's Degree in any field
- At least 5 years of relevant experience as an industry researcher or industry analyst, preferably in energy, power, or real estate
- Solid credit experience, SAS experience is a must
- Highly analytical, probing, and critical thinker, independent minded and can see beyond what is written in the proposals and in-house data
- Can work under minimum supervision. Confident to discuss with and communicate and present to all levels, whether internal or external audience
