Role Overview
- Leads Shopper related studies (trends, behavior, mindset, patterns) specific to the retail environment assigned to him/her (e.g. supermarkets, emerging channels, drugstores, beauty stores, general trade, etc.) for all categories, business units, areas, and customers. Studies that are either customized and/or syndicated.
- Provides input to Business Units Marketing / Channel/Trade/Category Business Plans (long and short term) looking into efficiencies and synergies that would help deliver growth / profit for the company in relation to the channel or retail environments or accounts assigned to him/her.
- Facilitates team learning on retail, industry, and shopper trends via workshops, training, resource reviews, and monthly trade sessions.
- Develops and delivers shopper tools by collaborating with cross-functional teams and external teams/ sources to enhance decision-making, go-to-market plans, distribution plans and programs while also optimizing plans and strengthening retailer relationships through effective data usage and selling strategies.
- Grow and Win with Strategic Customers of the identified channel of scope (i.e. supermarket, emerging channels, drug stores, resellers, etc.) by identifying and implementing shopper-related studies, tools and programs that enhance decision-making processes, optimizes plans, and differentiates supplier relationships by leveraging data and crafting compelling selling stories to retailers.
- Attained bachelor’s degree in any business or marketing related course
- With at least five (5) years of field experience in handling strategic customers, trade, and shopper marketing
- Must have an in-depth knowledge of trade and marketing operations, data analytics and insighting background
- With high influencing skills and able to work well with ambiguity and can handle complex situations with tact, discipline, and high level of professionalism.
