As a fast-growing startup, we are looking for a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support our CEO and founding team. The role is a 3 month contract to start, with potential to turn into a permanent position.

Who we are:

Based in New York, Adro is a fintech platform for international students, workers, and exchange program participants coming to the U.S. to live, study, or work. Launched in Summer 2024, we offer a suite of consumer banking solutions (checking and savings accounts, cross-border transfers, and rewards credit card) to make it easier for internationals to integrate into the U.S. financial system. The role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful Executive Assistant based in the Philippines to help manage communications, follow-ups, and administrative tasks. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, can anticipate needs and effectively synthesize and summarize information, and is comfortable handling high-level correspondence with professionalism.

What you’ll do: You’ll work alongside the CEO and founding team to help them manage their crowded calendars and inboxes. Here are examples of the tasks you’ll work on:

  • Manage and organize emails and LinkedIn messages for the CEO and founding team, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups.
  • Draft, edit, and refine emails and outreach messages for prospective partners, investors, and conference attendees.
  • Conduct market research and prepare summaries to support strategic initiatives.
  • Track and follow up on meetings, ensuring action items are documented and completed.
  • Assist with scheduling, calendar management, and coordinating virtual meetings.
  • Handle miscellaneous administrative and operational tasks to support leadership efficiency.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) with a keen eye for detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience in executive assistance, administrative support, or a related field.
  • A proactive, assertive problem-solver with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in email management, LinkedIn messaging, and scheduling tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Calendly, Notion).
  • Prior experience working as an EA or dealing with senior leadership teams is a plus.
  • Familiarity with startups or fintech is a plus but not required.
