The VM Manager (Production) is responsible to deliver and to aim for better standard Visual Merchandising aesthetics and installations, while overseeing all seasonal, SALE , thematic ,special initiated campaigns, Instore animations and POPUPs within SBU Visual Merchandising Head Office under SM Department Stores. The role encompasses from drawing up production timeline/schedule, negotiation with suppliers and vendors, oversee production processes and working cohesively with Fixed Assets and Supplies, organize standard work flow and processes to meet campaign deadline and budget management.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and provide updates on all Visual Merchandising creative projects: Seasonal/Sale/Thematic and Special initiated Campaigns in all SM Dept Stores and retail location and assist VM Head Office team on creative window layouts and production based on window scheme.
- Collaborate and work closely with VMD Creative/Design team and production partners and vendors on prop research, development, distribution and budget.
- Manage and track all confirm and cost estimates, negotiate, manage creatively with the given budget for every project/s. Work closely with the department superior on the procurement of VM material, production costs control and identify/rectify the waste measure
- Oversee the creative campaign ordering process, logistics, installation for all stores, along with any local production needs.
- Outsource external vendors: identifying and sourcing props, material, hardware, etc.
- Monitor production & installation constantly during campaign roll out to ensure output meets quality standards.
- Liaise with the graphic team on the material for production; the HO & store-level field team for the feedback on the material order allocation and installation related issues.
- Work closely with CFAS to monitor the delivery of the materials to the branches. Supervise, evaluate performance of the suppliers and feedback to CFAS for future projects.
- Strong knowledge of various materials suppliers and vendor.
Key Qualifications:
- Degree preferably in Visual Merchandising or any design related field.
- Expert understanding of production technique, both 2D and 3D.
- At least 3-5 years’ work experience in Visual Merchandising, retail environment or a fast pace industry.
- Ability to manage and deliver both small- and large-scale projects which installation concurrently.
- Extensive experience in rolling-out campaigns schedule and calendar.
