
Institutional Sales- Marketing Officer (PERA)

The Marketing Officer for Institutional Sales Unit is primarily responsible for marketing PERA (Personal Equity and Retirement Account) to corporate and institutional accounts, as well as generating new business through the acquisition of new accounts, company sponsored and voluntary contributed, in accordance with the unit’s target business growth. They assist in the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans, identify prospects to pursue, and arrange for proposals to be delivered to prospects to create product awareness, interest, and eventually open new accounts from convinced prospects. They collaborate and provide support to the Product Development Unit of TIG, as well as to other Bank units in the latter’s marketing calls to get leads and increase their prospect for the year. To increase referrals, they also conduct briefings on PERA to branches/other Bank marketing units, and to a particular segment or industry marketed by them or referred by other business units.
Responsibilities:
Prospecting and Delivery of Proposals
- Plan, organize, and execute various marketing activities and prepare proposals as needed for leads generation.
- Give presentations/briefings to prospects, clients, and colleagues to address specific needs.
- Provide excellent service and respond to client queries.
- Coordinate all business development activities with other bank marketing units.
- Perform a KYC/AMLA/RISK profiling and conduct KYC AMLA process
Prior Opening of Account
- Send complete and standard opening documentary requirements to prospects for legal and management approval.
- Collect and complete final approved account opening documents, ensuring zero documentary deficiencies and audit findings.
- Check New Account Basic-Vault Folder documents prepared in accordance with Bank policies and Philippine laws.
- Monitor any documentary deficiency and obtain special TIG Management approval, if applicable.
Account Opening
- Send instruction to the Client and Transaction Services to open the account upon completion of the account opening documents.
- Prepare New Accounts Folder documents for checking and approval by the Institutional Sales Unit Head.
- Deliver approved New Accounts Folder documents to the Client and Transaction Services.
Report Preparation
- Monitor actual marketing performance and ensure proper maintenance of account tracking records.
- Submit prescribed referral tracking report, call reports and marketing reports to the Unit Head.
- Elevate concerns, issues, and complaints to the Group/Department/Unit Heads and other business units concerned for immediate resolution.
- Perform other tasks, special projects, and assignments given by the Group/Department/Unit Heads
The candidate must be willing to work onsite in Makati.
