As a Print and Packaging Designer at HelloConnect, you will be part of a global team of designers. You will be responsible for supporting the design team in creating visually appealing and effective designs that meet the needs of our 6 different brands in 18 markets. Working closely with the senior designers, you will learn and develop design skills, while also having the opportunity to work on your projects. You will report to the Lead of Print & Packaging Design while collaborating with other key stakeholders across the wider business. You will help preserve the brand's consistency across all printed materials, designs, and paid marketing channels. You will also be able to help ensure the consistency of our Corporate Identity. You should be highly creative and able to bring new innovative ideas across the business with your designs. You will have great attention to detail and a passion for maintaining brand consistency. You will contribute to the development of our brand by attracting more customers and increasing customer value through designs and packaging that are creative, attractive, emotional, and strategic enablers. Responsibilities and Duties
- Create exceptional packaging designs for the in-box experience, including designing across all private label ingredients and the outer box.
- Manage the workflow of incoming requests and execute projects from the conceptual stage to the final product against tight deadlines.
- Collaborate with global inter-departmental teams including operations, procurement as well as stakeholders in local markets.
- Work closely with third-party production houses and print partners: offer creative consultations, recommend paper and material solutions, and maintain and enforce the quality of files.
- Uphold the brand identity guidelines.
- Develop and adapt work with feedback, consolidating across stakeholders.
- Coordinate with Creative Operations to ensure deadlines are met.
- Supervise the printing process to make sure the products meet quality and consistency standards.
- Work closely with third-party production houses and print partners: offer creative consultations, recommend paper and material solutions, etc.
- Stay up to date with the latest design techniques, trends, and printing standards.
- Drive sustainability and seek the latest design and technology trends in packaging.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the competition.
- Clear decision-making and creative thinking (e.g. what type of packaging materials can be used and how to bring a cohesive look and feel to product lines).
- Ensure a high level of excellence and attention to detail in all creative work produced and executed.
Skills and preferred qualifications
- BA degree required.
- 4+ years of packaging agency or brand design experience required.
- Experience with Adobe CC Programs: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.
- Understanding of the print world, CMYK and Pantone
- Experience in creating technical drawings, instructions, and specification packs.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders and managing clear tasks and timelines.
- Working on food and beverage is a major plus.

- Strong in typography, design systems & visual storytelling.
- Ability to prioritize accordingly, set expectations, and meet deadlines.
- Strong technical understanding in developing packaging from concept through to final product, with experience working with different materials and print processes.
