Job Description
Shift Assignment: Night Shift
- Provide on-site technical support for end-users, addressing hardware and software issues at their desks.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and peripherals to ensure optimal functionality.
- Collaborate with IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues that cannot be resolved at the deskside.
- Conduct regular hardware and software maintenance, including updates, patches, and system optimizations.
- Offer hands-on assistance with user training and guidance on IT-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and security protocols.
- Document and maintain accurate records of support activities, configurations, and issue resolutions.
- Participate in the planning and execution of IT projects, such as system upgrades and rollouts.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and provide input on their potential integration into the organization's IT environment.
- Foster positive relationships with end-users and contribute to a customer-focused IT support culture.
Required Skills/Experience
- Experience as a deskside support or field service engineer. Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.
- In-depth knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS) and common productivity software.
- Strong hardware troubleshooting skills and familiarity with a variety of computing devices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with end-users and cross-functional IT teams.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet service level agreements.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are a plus.
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Strong analytical skills, spreadsheet skills, and business problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, detail-oriented, and efficient documentation skills
- Basic understanding of IT and insurance terminology preferred
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
