JOB DESCRIPTION

The ideal candidate should possess at least a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from a recognized and reputable university, coupled with a minimum of 6-10 years of professional experience in power plant, power systems, or similar industrial applications. The candidate must have an in-depth understanding of power plant equipment, including but not limited to generators and excitation systems (SFC/SEE), transformers, protection systems, switchgear, motors, batteries, battery chargers, and inverters.

The role requires hands-on experience in major shutdown support, project execution, and both preventive and corrective maintenance (PM & CM) activities related to these systems. A strong capability to interpret and understand technical documents such as single-line diagrams, schematic drawings, P&I diagrams, protection relay logics, and programming is essential.

Proficiency in SAP, ISO standards, and Microsoft Office tools is required. The ideal candidate should also have excellent communication and coordination skills, with fluency in both oral and written English. Knowledge of Arabic will be considered an added advantage. A solid understanding of occupational safety, safety practices, and procedures is crucial to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

The successful candidate should demonstrate leadership capabilities and be able to effectively lead a team of electrical maintenance personnel, ensuring smooth operation and maintenance of critical plant systems.
