Job Description

Responsible for quality, completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of Master Data set up/maintained in the system. The MDM Specialist will also ensure that internal controls for master data records are in place and effective.

 Ensure the integrity and accuracy of master data entry in the system without sacrificing timeliness in completing the process.

 Interpret information correctly and able to make sound decisions to support the business while maintaining controls during set up.

 Apply corporate rules and best practices when reviewing requests to identify errors in global data fields and rejects, escalates or remediates errors, if any.

 Create or update existing documentation and training materials related to Master Data Management process.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent quality of data.

 Perform regular review and clean-up of master data.

 Ensure internal controls relating to maintenance of master data are in place and effective.

 Support implementation of master data process improvement initiatives.

 Informing Supervisors of any issues or opportunities with existing customers, such as outdated customer contact information.

 Being the primary contact with the country-based account management team, commercial and other related departments/ / function

 Manage and drive responsibilities to Master Data team, establishing strong relationships with business contacts, and making decisions based on results.

 Perform user acceptance testing on defect resolution and enhancements.

Qualifications

 Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business

 3+ years of professional experience in Master Data Management

 Experience in financial systems (knowledge of Oracle E Business Suite is nice to have)

 Familiarity with MS Excel

 Analytical skills with high focus on the details

 Demonstrate proper attitude in relation to assigned responsibilities

 Able to work independently

 Strong team player

 Good understanding of data structures and architecture
