Responsibilities

  • Answer and manage inbound calls from facilities and private pay members with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Coordinate and dispatch transportation services efficiently, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs
  • Develop and maintain optimal transportation schedules, adapting quickly to last-minute changes
  • Provide top-tier customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and managing escalations with patience and expertise
  • Act as a crucial communication hub between internal teams, drivers, and external clients
  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of scheduling and dispatching to ensure service reliability
  • Utilize and master dispatch and scheduling software to streamline operations
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes and customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse clientele
  • Proven track record in customer service, preferably in logistics and transportation
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and aptitude for learning new software quickly
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet in challenging situations
  • Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics or customer service are a plus
  • Previous experience in transportation, logistics, or dispatch is highly desirable but not required for exceptional candidates
