Job Summary:

The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data from various sources to provide actionable insights that drive decision-making across business functions. This role will support the development and implementation of BI solutions, including reporting systems, dashboards, and data analysis techniques to improve operational efficiency and inform strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Gather, clean, and process data from multiple sources, including databases, data warehouses, and third-party services.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain regular reports and dashboards to track key business performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Present findings to business stakeholders in a clear and actionable format.

Business Intelligence Tools:

  • Design, implement, and manage BI solutions, including data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
  • Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reporting systems for real-time insights.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports and dashboards.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, finance, and operations, to understand their data needs.
  • Provide strategic insights to support business objectives and decision-making.
  • Educate team members and stakeholders on best practices for utilizing BI tools and interpreting data.

Data Governance & Quality:

  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to ensure data infrastructure is optimized for BI purposes.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data quality issues to maintain accuracy and reliability.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in BI, data analytics, and data science.
  • Propose and implement new BI tools, techniques, and approaches to enhance decision-making capabilities.
  • Continuously improve data collection, processing, and reporting methodologies.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology,

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar.
  • Experience working with databases (SQL, MySQL, etc.) and data warehousing concepts.
  • Proven experience in reporting, analysis, and data visualization.
  • Must be amenable to work onsite at Taguig City

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and other data management tools.
  • Knowledge of data modeling, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), and data warehousing.
  • Familiarity with Python, R, or other data science tools is a plus.
