Summary:

The marketing & communications team is responsible for telling the Crawford story across all media. As we go to market, we must help audiences connect the dots between each of our brands to build brand equity and consistency in how all of our divisions tell our brand story. This story must be equally reinforced internally so that we have consistency in messaging.

Reporting to the Creative Service Lead - GBSC, the Multimedia Designer is responsible for executing on marketing and communications objectives through key visual and verbal messaging concepts. The role contributes to marketing strategies to evolve the Crawford brand strategy, brand position and brand story through execution of visual design across varied media. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of working experience with an agency or in house marketing team and a portfolio that reflects his/her expertise in print as well as digital. The multimedia specialist should have experience in motion graphics primarily for social and web ads, video, as well as the ability to create large scale graphics.

The employee will work with mainly with members of the marketing and communications department to ensure continuity in the company’s marketing messages and brand standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as multimedia designer on a wide range of projects at the same time
  • Work closely with marketing and creative team to produce on-brand designs that meet the required goals.
  • Supports the creative process from concept to completion including execution, pre-press and printing.
  • Design web-ready graphics for social media, web banners, and email communications that utilize motion
  • Design visually compelling PowerPoint presentations that utilize motion.
  • Advanced video editing and motion graphic design.
  • Interface with marketing team and marketing managers in creatively and collaboratively supporting their campaign and marketing program efforts to meet both their targeted requirements while also advancing the company brand proposition, look and feel and key messages.
  • Prepare final print-ready files based on supplied specifications for several types of printing.
  • Ensures accurate representation of company logo and brand name.
  • Upholds the Crawford Code of Conduct.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual design, advertising, marketing, communications or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong conceptual thinker and creative problem solver
  • Strong skills in Adobe Creative Cloud suite, with a high proficiency in After Effects, Premiere Pro, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Ensure design quality that allows a consistent brand experience across all deliverables
  • Ability to manage multiple projects from conception to production
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multitask assignments and deadlines, while consistently delivering high-quality design
  • Basic understanding of UX design principles
  • An understanding of the latest trends, to ensure creative work remains forward thinking
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
