JOB SUMMARY
The Sr. Account Manager is responsible for promoting agency services and for building strong business relationship with clients. He or she is responsible for achieving 100% sales targets by developing new accounts and by employing strategies to grow the business for existing accounts.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Grows the business by analyzing market trends specific to company’s services to identify new business opportunities.
- Converts sales leads to prospective clients through cold calling, sending emails, and conducting business presentations.
- Achieves 100% sales target on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for new business acquisition and existing accounts.
- Compares previous month and current sales performance for assigned brands. Develops plan of actions for the for the following month.
- Monitors and conducts follow-ups on collection of payments of clients for completed projects.
- Prepares comprehensive Cost Estimates (CE) which includes project scope, deliverables, and budget.
- Negotiates contracts and agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
- Gathers preliminary information about the client’s nature of business, existing products, brands, and services. Identifies key issues and challenges and develops a creative brief that is comms-driven and is aligned with client’s business objectives.
- Ensures good understanding of the client’s brands and proposes recommendations on how to grow these brands through integrated marketing and communication activities.
- Prepares and conducts effective integrated marketing and communication pitches, providing solutions based on client’s needs and highlighting the agency’s services and competitive advantage.
- Ensures the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to client partners’ nature of business, requirements, preferences, and expectations.
- Enhances the department and organization’s reputation by fulfilling client partners’ various requests.
- Ensures that client feedback is documented and is being solicited for every accomplished project.
- Ensures that all company marketing collaterals needed for business presentations are complete, accurate, and according to the needs of the prospective client.
- Continuously strives to work harmoniously with internal stakeholders i.e., Creatives, Operations, and Business Support departments.
- Prepares project management monitoring chart and ensures delivery of project deliverables based on agreed timelines.
- Submits Client Information Sheet to the Finance department which includes client profile, terms, billing process and accreditation requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of Advertising, Communication Arts, Business Management, Marketing Management and allied courses.
- Must have gained at two (2) to six (6) years of solid account management work experience gained from reputable advertising agencies.
- Must be a part of a team that implemented at least five (5) successful brands campaigns that resulted in significant sales volume.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must be presentable and must have a pleasing personality.
- Must be creative and innovative in coming up with solutions to client issues.
- Must be in good in the preparation of cost estimates, sales reporting, and conducting pre and post project evaluations.
- Must be knowledgeable in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Highly optimistic and must have grit.
- Must have good interpersonal skills and a good team player.
- Must be organized and have good time management skills.
