JOB SUMMARY

Develop and execute strategic concept and copy for digital executions which may include but not limited to campaigns and advertisements, platform UI/UX, and other related materials. Will manage a team of junior to mid-level copywriters, and work closely with the art team to ensure that copies are supported by appropriate visuals that best illustrate the strategic concept and vision.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure creative ideas and executions are scalable and sellable to clients
  • Help ensure team’s operational efficiency
  • Create standout and quality output
  • Ensure that creative work addresses client gaps and needs, and has added value
  • Lead creative pitch production and presentation. Ensure concise and persuasive presentation of ideas and concepts during client pitches and presentation.
  • Self-learner. Proactive in keeping up with digital marketing trends and quick to identify opportunities for application and execution
  • Understand digital metrics, and is agile in adjusting work given campaign results
  • Collaborate with Art Director and Creative Director in developing strategic creative ideas that will deliver client’s goals and objectives
  • Take initiative in researching data and key points that will help in their ideations and crafting
  • Ensure material and activity compliance with relevant digital and media law (e.g., copyright and data privacy)
  • Ensure strict adherence to standard lead times of agency and timely delivery of projects
  • Use SEO practices to optimize work and increase visibility
  • Edit and fact-check work of junior colleagues
  • Ensure seamless delivery of work amongst copy team and be able to escalate issues to Creative Director and/or Digital Producer, Account Manager when necessary
  • Aid Creative Director in ensuring the quality of copy work among junior colleagues
  • Exhibits mastery of their craft and ensure they have the initiative to adapt to the constant changes of the digital landscape
  • Attend upskilling courses and/or workshops as recommended by Creative Director

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, Communication Arts, Journalism, and any related field
  • Minimum three (3) years of solid experience in copywriting for digital advertising or marketing, above-the-line, or branding studios
  • Strategic copy crafting skills in English and Filipino; Presentation and communication skills in English and Filipino; Mastery of writing and pitch crafting programs (such as but not limited to Keynote, Powerpoint, Google Slides, Pages, Words, Google Docs); Team-player with agile time management skills; and other related skills
