Cost Estimator (Construction) - WFH/Morning Shift
Position Overview:
Assess each project and complete accurate bill of quantities, budgets and purchase
orders. Monitor and assess over budget and or no budget invoices, return credits and
complete budget adjustments in consultation and the approval from the General
Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Complete bill or quantities for building materials & labour associated with each
construction project
• Complete budgets within company Workflow System to form purchase orders for
suppliers and contractors
• Issue purchase orders to suppliers & contractors
• Assessing invoices relating to budget overruns (over, under or no budget)
• Confirming of extra orders for items missed or underestimated
• Complete budget adjustment (Manager approval required)
• Assist Sales & Selections by confirming quantities and costing’s
• Prepare cost analysis
• Provide feedback on process improvement within the team and assist in
implementing changes to improve efficiencies
• Conduct research and investigations as required
• Keeping up to date records
• Maintain monthly targets
• Promote a continuous improvement environment
• Maintaining a safe, healthy, and enjoyable work environment
• Establish and maintain safe & healthy working relationships with suppliers,
contractors, and stakeholders
Critical Tasks:

• Certificate or Diploma in Construction (desirable)
• White Card Training (desirable
