DATABASE ANALYST

We are looking for a skilled Database Analyst to lead the migration and optimization of our database systems, focusing on transitioning to Azure SQL. If you have strong expertise in PostgreSQL, Azure SQL, and MSSQL, and experience modernizing legacy systems, this could be the perfect role for you!

What You’ll Do:

  • Migrate and optimize existing databases to Azure SQL, ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure database solutions using Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, and MSSQL.
  • Improve database performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with development teams to implement best practices in database architecture.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance through system audits and documentation.

What We’re Looking For:

Must-Haves:

  • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and Azure SQL.
  • Strong knowledge of MSSQL and its integration with other platforms.
  • Proven track record in database migration and modernization, preferably to cloud-based systems like Azure SQL.
  • Expertise in database performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
  • Familiarity with database security principles, backup, and recovery strategies.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Certifications in Azure SQL or related cloud technologies.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for database deployments.
  • Background in managing large-scale, distributed database systems.
