Virtual Recruitment Assistant – US Construction (Business Development Experience a Plus)

About the Role:
We are looking for a Recruiter with expertise in sourcing for the US construction industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in identifying and engaging top talent within the construction sector, utilising LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM, and ATS systems to optimise the recruitment process. Business development experience is a plus, as you will have opportunities to build and maintain client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Sourcing & Recruitment
- Identify and engage skilled professionals within the US construction industry, including project managers, engineers, estimators, site supervisors, and skilled trades.
- Utilise LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM, and ATS to source, track, and manage candidates efficiently.
- Screen and assess candidates based on experience, qualifications, and client requirements.
- Manage the recruitment process up to the offer stage, which will be forwarded to the consultant for finalisation.
- Business Development & Client Management (Preferred but Not Essential)
- Build and maintain relationships with construction firms and contractors.
- Identify hiring needs and provide consultative recruitment solutions.
- Assist in developing partnerships with new clients, leveraging market knowledge and industry connections.
- Process & Data Management
- Maintain up-to-date records of candidates and clients in the CRM/ATS.
- Track key recruitment metrics and optimise sourcing strategies.
- Stay informed about market trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor hiring activity.
Requirements:
Experience in sourcing and recruiting for the US construction industry (residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects).
Proven ability to source candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM, and ATS.
Strong understanding of construction job roles, industry trends, and hiring challenges.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet hiring deadlines.
Bonus: Business development experience or a strong interest in client acquisition.
