Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a New Ventures and EPMO Specialist at Converge ICT Solutions Inc. in Pasig. The specialist will be responsible for overseeing new ventures, managing EPMO (Enterprise Project Management Office) activities, and ensuring project alignment with business goals. Daily tasks will include project planning, risk management, and driving project success within the organization.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science in Project Management, Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or Innovation; a Master's degree and certification in a relevant field is a plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
  • Proven experience in project implementation and coordination.
  • Skilled in benefit-cost analysis and data analytics.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing or supervising team members.
  • Preferred experience in the telecommunications industry.
  • Background in management and/or strategy consulting is favored.
  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge in project and performance management, as well as process improvement.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft applications.

· Adept in project, change and stakeholder management within and outside the organization

· Knowledgeable on leading practices related to the Telco/ICT industry

· Applies skills on effective communication and active listening

· Facilitates discussions or presentations

· Able to express themselves in English, both written and spoken

· Competent in the use of Microsoft Office and G Suite programs

Corporate Planning-Related Skills and Qualifications

· Shows end-to-end knowledge and competency on finance, planning and budgeting cycle

· Has experience in developing controls, policies & procedures and governance

· Has experience in maintaining, managing and executing a comprehensive process for identifying, assessing, evaluating, monitoring and reporting risks

· Develop governance framework, policies and procedures, and controls

· Knowledgeable on the risk management methodologies

· Experienced in identifying gaps and able to assess effectiveness of controls

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Project Management

1. Provide the key project managers guidance/standards that are consistent with the standard PM methodology in order to properly plan, coordinate, and implement for the successful realization of the objectives of the project and initiatives

2. Provide status and tracking of project progress, budget spent, etc. including the following:

a. Raise key risks and issues

b. Monitor quality of work during implementation

c. Engage all relevant stakeholders and execute communications plan

d. Utilize change management methodologies for smooth transition

e. Conduct a post-mortem evaluation to include lessons learned session and benefits realized

Corporate Planning and Monitoring

1. Co-leads strategic and business planning activities

2. Provide insights and analysis to align company-wide actions based on data collection / reported
