Supply Chain Associate
On behalf of the client we are looking to hire Supply Chain Associate to support the Supply Chain Manager in overseeing and optimizing inventory, reviewing purchase orders, preparing client invoices, and assisting in daily operational tasks. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in web-based tools and spreadsheets to maintain accurate records and ensure efficient supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Monitor and manage inventory levels using web-based tools and spreadsheets.
Assist in tracking stock levels to ensure timely replenishment.
Identify and report inventory discrepancies or shortages.
Purchase Order Review:
Review purchase orders to verify accuracy and completeness before submission.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to confirm order details and delivery schedules.
Assist in maintaining purchase records and tracking shipments.
Order Preparation & Client Invoicing:
Help prepare and process orders for invoicing.
Ensure all necessary documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Work closely with finance and customer service teams to facilitate smooth transactions.
Daily Operations Support:
Provide administrative and operational support to the Supply Chain Manager.
Assist in analyzing supply chain data and generating reports.
Support process improvements and workflow optimizations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, or business administration.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and other web-based inventory management tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in supply chain, purchasing, or logistics roles.
Experience with the e-commerce industry related to physical products.
Familiarity with ERP or inventory management software.
Knowledge of e-commerce or manufacturing supply chains is a plus.
Experience working remotely and managing supply chain tasks in a distributed team environment.
