Job Description

As an Operations Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of creating exceptional travel experiences for adventure seekers worldwide. You’ll be responsible for meticulously planning and coordinating comfortable walking tours across diverse international destinations, ensuring every aspect of our clients’ journeys is seamless and memorable. Responsibilities

  • Utilize our advanced VT reservation system to expertly book accommodations and coordinate transfers, ensuring a smooth journey for our clients
  • Craft comprehensive and engaging itineraries for walking tours across various international destinations, tailoring each to highlight local culture and natural beauty
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with international suppliers through clear, professional email communication
  • Skillfully manage and organize multiple bookings and itineraries simultaneously, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail
  • Promptly address client queries and special requests, consistently delivering high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in our tour destinations, continuously expanding your knowledge of walking routes, local attractions, and accommodation options
  • Collaborate with a diverse, international team to enhance our tour offerings and operational efficiency

Requirements

  • Proven experience in the travel industry, with a focus on tour operations or itinerary planning
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using reservation systems and CRM software
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Outstanding organizational abilities and a keen eye for detail
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative, remote team environment
  • In-depth knowledge of international destinations, particularly in Europe and Asia
  • Passion for travel and a genuine interest in creating memorable experiences for others
  • Adaptability to work flexible hours, accommodating different time zones when necessary
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively in dynamic situations
