Job Summary: As a BMS Engineer III (Supervisor) you will be a senior technical expert responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and optimization of complex Building Management Systems (BMS) projects. You will guide the engineering team, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and act as a subject matter expert in BMS engineering. Your extensive experience and advanced technical skills will drive innovation and excellence in BMS solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of large-scale BMS projects, ensuring compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and training to BMS Engineer I and II.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project objectives and deliverables, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
- Conduct advanced system programming, configuration, and integration of BMS components.
- Oversee complex BMS equipment and systems installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- To optimize BMS operations, perform in-depth system testing, and verification, and perform performance analysis.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulations, and propose innovative solutions to enhance BMS capabilities.
- Assist in the development of company-wide standards, processes, and strategies for BMS engineering.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or any related field
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in BMS engineering or a similar role.
- Extensive knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and HVAC systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in BMS, such as BACnet or Modbus
- Strong understanding of industry standards, codes, and regulations related to BMS engineering.
- Proven track record in successfully delivering large-scale BMS projects from design to implementation.
- Advanced problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for complex technical issues.
- Excellent leadership, project management, and mentoring capabilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
