What You’ll Do:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated High Touch Engineer to support Cisco’s customers in the Philippines. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and expertise for Cisco’s products, ensuring high availability and performance of network infrastructure.
Additional responsibilities of the role:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex network issues, ensuring minimal impact on the customer’s operations.
- Act as a focal point for network problem resolution and provide Root-Cause Analysis as per contracted agreement with named customer.
- Provide systems/product training to internal partners and customers.
- Technical authority in a broad area covering multiple technologies. Apply expected product behavior across industry practices. Know how the technology is expected to work in the industry.
- Attend case review calls to drive resolution on reactive break/fix issues and provide technical input/contribution to QBR and other customer direct engagements.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all support activities, configurations, and changes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- You have previous experience and knowledge of network environments.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting complex network issues in large-scale customer environments.
- You can isolate and resolve problems, resolve root cause, and deliver known solutions with a high level of customer satisfaction.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- You are able to establish relationships with the customer to understand their networks better in order to provide quicker and more effective results to their requests.
- Cisco certifications such as CCNP, CCIE are highly desirable.
- Experience on Cisco Technology/Product/Solutions (EN, DC, Security, etc.) is a plus.
