General Summary
The primary purpose of this position is to plan and coordinate all marketing and sales activities on Country Level. He/ She will work closely with the entire Regional Commercial team and work under the direct management of the Country Managing Director.
Essential Job Functions:
- Develop and implement Country Sales Strategy in line with Regional Sales and IV Strategy
- Establish, communicate & implement sales targets and sales plans for the Country in line with budget
- Manage the commercial team of the Country to meet and exceed the sale objectives of growth, profitability, and productivity
- Provide leadership and ownership of activity and development on designated Strategic and Country Key accounts
- Conduct market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities
- Improve company’s competitive position in the local market
- Ensure efficient organization and management of the entire Country Sales force to execute Country sales strategy
- Drive and enforce BOB usage a favorable commercial relationship with assigned account that will promote customer satisfaction, business growth and profitability; regularly visit existing accounts validating our service levels and develop new revenue streams
- Act to acquire new customers and manage client relationships (new and existing)
- Ensure that the organization complies with contractual obligations as well as compliance to all local and international regulations
- Work with other department heads to determine company goals and KPIs
- Negotiate new projects and contract terms with new clients
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must have in-depth knowledge about the market and freight forwarding industry in the Philippines
- Proven experience in sales and/or marketing and managing relationships with key clients
- Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budget processes
- Excellent organization and leadership skills
- Customer focused with proactive attitude
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
Education and Experience:
- Min 10 years of sales experience within Air and Sea Forwarding
- Min 4 years of sales management/leadership position
- Language skills: High level English
- IT literacy
- Min. 4 cases of Best success in Sales
