Responsibilities

  • Master data entry with precision and speed, ensuring the integrity of financial records
  • Conduct thorough account reconciliations, maintaining accuracy across various client accounts
  • Efficiently manage accounts payable and receivable processes, optimizing cash flow for clients
  • Execute payroll processing using state-of-the-art cloud-based systems
  • Prepare and file GST and PST returns, ensuring compliance with Canadian tax regulations
  • Expertly record and categorize financial transactions in QuickBooks Online
  • Play a crucial role in month-end and year-end closing procedures, contributing to timely financial reporting
  • Maintain meticulously organized and up-to-date financial records, setting the standard for excellence

Requirements

  • Proven track record with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in QuickBooks Online
  • In-depth understanding of Canadian accounting principles and tax regulations
  • Demonstrated expertise in GST and PST filing processes
  • Proficiency in cloud-based accounting and payroll systems
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining the highest degree of accuracy
  • Outstanding communication skills in English, both written and verbal
