Duties and Responsibilities
- Functionally reporting to the Corporate EHSS Department and administratively reporting to the Project Manager.
- Acts as Secretary of Health & Safety Committee headed by the Project Manager / Project-In-Charge; see Occupational Safety & Health Standards (OSHS) / Department Order No. 13.
- Ensures effective and efficient implementation of company rules and regulations, quality policies, systems and procedures, OSH Procedures, and safety plan of the project.
- Monitor project site compliance with standards and procedures promulgated by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Bureau of Working Conditions, Health and Safety Division.
- Conduct Health and Safety Educational training / orientation for all levels at the project site.
- Conduct daily safety inspections in the workplace to ensure the protection of the workers and environment.
- Monitor project manpower.
- Stores, administer, and monitor first aid treatments on injuries, accidents and other health related illness.
- Conduct accident investigation, analyze and formulate recommendations for corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct periodic safety walkthrough with the PM/PIC.
- Issue a stop-work order should he/she find the work potential to hazard condition or imminent danger.
Job Qualifications:
- Candidate must be a college graduate of any 4-year course.
- Preferably with experience in Construction industry.
- With advance computer knowledge.
- Must have a COSH/BOSH Certificate.
- Can drive manual and automatic vehicles (with driver's license).
- Applicant must be willing to work Nationwide.
