Job Description: HR Manager – Business Partnership
About the Role:
We are looking for a strategic and people-centric HR Manager – Business Partnership to join our growing tech startup. This role will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, driving people strategies that support organizational growth, culture, and employee engagement. You will play a critical role in aligning HR initiatives with business objectives while fostering a high-performance, innovative, and inclusive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Business Partnering & Strategy
- Collaborate with leadership to understand business goals and align HR strategies to support growth and scalability.
- Provide proactive HR consultation and solutions to managers on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent management.
- Champion a people-first culture by driving employee engagement, retention, and leadership development initiatives.
Talent Management & Organizational Development
- Identify key talent needs and work with hiring teams to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
- Implement career development programs and succession planning to support employee growth.
- Conduct regular performance check-ins and support leaders in driving a feedback-driven culture.
Employee Relations & Culture Building
- Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, ensuring a fair and consistent approach to conflict resolution.
- Advocate for an inclusive, diverse, and psychologically safe workplace.
- Design and execute initiatives that strengthen company values and enhance employee experience.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
- Partner with leadership on compensation and benefits benchmarking to stay competitive in the market.
- Lead change management efforts during organizational shifts or rapid scaling.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in an HR Business Partner role (preferably in a tech or startup environment).
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and people analytics.
- Experience in scaling teams, managing change, and building HR processes from the ground up.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence leadership and employees.
- Agile, data-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
