JOB SUMMARY:
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by managing customer accounts, qualifying leads, and maintaining an accurate sales pipeline. This role requires deep industry knowledge of the energy sector, particularly solar, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective sales strategies and account management. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Account Management & Customer Success
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers in the solar energy industry.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Monitor account progress, ensuring timely delivery of solutions that align with customer needs.
- Track and report on account performance, ensuring business targets are consistently met.
Lead Qualification & Sales Growth
- Identify and assess new business opportunities by qualifying leads based on company objectives.
- Collaborate with marketing, technical support, and product teams to validate lead quality and readiness.
- Develop targeted action plans to convert leads into long-term customers.
Sales Pipeline & Forecasting
- Maintain a comprehensive and accurate sales pipeline, ensuring visibility into all opportunities.
- Prepare sales forecasts and provide regular updates to senior management, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
- Analyze sales data and trends to refine forecasting accuracy and decision-making.
- Coordinate with production and operations teams to align sales forecasts with capacity planning.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the energy industry, particularly solar.
- Strong expertise in sales processes, account management, and forecasting within the energy industry or related fields.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and data analysis for strategic sales planning and reporting.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in technical or industrial sales, preferably within the renewable energy sector.
